Peanut seeds, whether processed for planting or consumption, must be handled with care to prevent kernel damage and ensure purity. The process begins with an intake conveyor that feeds raw peanuts into a pre-cleaner. The pre-cleaning phase removes large debris such as soil clumps, sticks, and stones using vibration screens and suction fans. Due to the relatively high oil content in peanuts, equipment in this line is designed with anti-clogging features and smooth surface finishes to prevent residue build-up.


After pre-cleaning, peanuts go through a de-stoner, which eliminates heavier contaminants such as stones and metal fragments. A magnetic separator is also used to remove any residual metal pieces that may have been missed in the previous step.


The gravity separator plays a central role in classifying peanuts based on density. Light or damaged kernels are separated from healthy, mature seeds, increasing the overall germination rate and processing efficiency. For edible peanuts, a blanching machine and a polishing unit can be added to improve appearance and texture.


Sorting machines using optical sensors further enhance the line's ability to remove discolored or deformed peanuts. These systems can be fine-tuned for various quality levels, depending on whether the peanuts are intended for snack food, oil production, or seed stock.


Once cleaned and graded, the peanuts are conveyed to the packaging unit, where they are weighed, filled, and sealed in bags. Automated bagging systems reduce labor costs and improve consistency across batches.
