Working Principle
The Rice Color Sorter employs high-resolution cameras coupled with LED lighting arrays to capture detailed images of individual rice grains as they pass through a narrow inspection channel. Advanced image-processing algorithms analyze each grain’s hue, brightness, and shape, comparing these parameters against adjustable thresholds. When a kernel falls outside acceptable ranges, a rapid-response air nozzle ejects the undesirable grain into a separate collection hopper, while acceptable grains continue along the main product stream.
