Shijiazhuang Xinlu Technology Co., Ltd. offers the Maize Seed Air Screen Cleaner as an independent machine designed to prepare maize seed by removing both coarse and fine impurities. Its dual-action cleaning ensures that oversized debris and lightweight contaminants are separated effectively.
Working Principle
Maize kernels are metered onto a vibratory screen deck, where perforations sized to the kernel diameter hold back broken cobs, stones, and husk fragments. An aspirator fan beneath the deck draws air upward, lifting dust, fine husk, and chaff into a collection system. Cleaned seed that passes through the deck discharges via a bottom chute, ready for grading or treatment.
Key Components
Robust Screen Deck: Mesh sizes from 4 mm to 8 mm, easily swapped for different seed varieties.
Variable Aspirator: Fan capacity adjustable between 0.5 and 3 m³/min to suit moisture and impurity levels.
Vibration System: Counterbalanced design offering 3–7 mm stroke at 400–600 vpm.
Dust Collection Module: Bag‑filter or cyclone options available for captured fines.
User Controls: Manual dials for vibration and airflow; optional PLC upgrade.
Applications and Benefits
Seed Preparation: Protects downstream seed treaters and graders from abrasive and light contaminants.
Uniformity: Improves the consistency of seed batches by removing variable impurities.
Capacity: Up to 25 t/h under typical operating conditions.
Standalone Convenience: Compact unit easily integrated into new or existing seed lines.
Maintenance and Customization
Screen decks and filters are accessible through hinged panels, enabling tool‑free maintenance. Optional features include secondary aspiration stages, feed‑rate sensors, and custom deck chamber heights to accommodate specific site constraints.
